Name of man killed in West Glacier crash released

KALISPELL - The Flathead County Coroner's Office has released the name of the man who was killed in a one-vehicle crash near West Glacier on Monday evening.

Roy W. Black , 45, of Cambridge Massachusetts died in the wreck that happened on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 164 at around 5:30 p.m., Sheriff Chuck Curry said.

Black was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, according to a news release.

A woman in the vehicle was taken to North Valley Hospital after the crash, which is still being investigated by the Montana Highway Patrol.
