MSE sold to Global Technologies

Global Technologies Incorporation announced their purchase of MSE Technology Applications, a Butte based company, on Monday.

"We are looking forward to commencing the operation of MSE Inc. this month and started the transition last week," said James Fallacaro, president of Global Technologies. "We appreciate the support we have gotten not only from all involved with the agreements, the employees, the townspeople of Butte and from the representatives of the state and government."

Last week Fallacaro spent time in Butte making changes to how the company operates. He said the changes he has made will benefit the company, the employees, and the community.

MSE currently has 40 full-time employees and 20 part-time employees, according to Jim Smitham, executive director of the Butte Local Development Corporation. Global Technologies Group is in the business of acquiring exclusive licenses and contracts on proven technologies in the environmental, green and defense industries.

Representatives from Global Technologies and MSE expect the transition to be complete by Oct. 25.
