MISSOULA - The woman who is accused of running over a Missoula police officer Monday night is now facing three more charges, including assault with a weapon, which was added Friday.

A preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 31, and her bail remains at $250,000.

Eaton is accused of hitting Officer Deni Poling and then fleeing the scene as she was trying to avoid arrest for earlier drug charges.

The incident happened Monday night at the McDonald's on East Broadway, and Eaton was shot in the arm by another officer after Poling was hit.

Police searched for several hour before receiving a tip that Easton was at an apartment off of Hillview Way.

A second suspect in the case, who's accused of helping Eaton allude capture is also facing charges in connection with the case.
