Montana Tech makes U.S. News top 50 for online programs

BUTTE - Montana Tech is gaining more national recognition.

U.S. News surveyed more than 200 accredited schools and institutions to find out the top 50 in online distance learning engineering masters degree programs. Montana Tech, one of the leading petroleum and mining engineering schools in the country ranks number 29 in that list.

Tech offers two graduate engineering programs online: Industrial Hygiene and Project Engineering and Management. U.S News's survey was based on academic reputations amongst peer institutions, admissions selection processes, and the credentials of faculty members.
