Montana Tech choir premiere on Sunday

The Montana Tech Choral Union will give their premiere performance Sunday night in the Montana Tech library auditorium.

The musical group is composed of 70 singers and musicians from Montana Tech, Butte and the surrounding area. The group started practicing at the beginning of fall semester, according to Gary Funk, director of the Montana Tech Choral Union.

The concert will begin at 7:30p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door. Adult tickets are $10 and $5 for students and seniors. Seating is limited. The concert lineup includes, Carol of the Bells, Ave Maria and I Wish You Christmas.

The choir will hold spring auditions on Monday, January 14, starting at 6p.m. to 9p.m. For more information about auditions contact Gary Funk at (406)529-1379 or sylvele@aol.com.
