Online at smartaboutcollege.org students will be able to access multiple videos that provide step-by-step instruction all the way from how to get a FAFSA PIN number and how to properly complete the form, one step at a time.
But first both the student and parents will need a get their PIN numbers and can use it as a online signature as the deadline fast approaching.
"You can use your past taxes from 2011 if you need to and estimate to that you make sure you make your schools deadline, because all the schools have a priority deadline most schools in Montana it is March 1st. [The] University of Montana is February 15th, so it is something that you need to do timely so that you get all the funds that you are eligible for," explained Student Assistance Foundation Program Manager Rhonda Safford.
