The trial for the murder of a Montana State inmate continued Wednesday afternoon. Members of the jury were shown evidence from the scene of the crime.
The jury was shown a pair of pants, a shirt and shoes with bloods stains on them. The clothes belonged to 30-year-old Shaun Duncan Morrison. Morrison is charged with felony deliberate homicide and possession of a deadly weapon by a prisoner.
On Sept. 4, 2011 Morrison allegedly murdered inmate Julio Santiago Jr. with razor blades attached to a pen.
Wednesday afternoon the jury listened to a recorded interview that took place between Morrison and state investigators directly following the incident.
The trial will continue Thursday.
