The Montana State Men didn't exactly have the start they were hoping to in their regular season opener against Seattle University on Sunday. In the Elgin Baylor Classic, Montana State's poor shooting and turnover prone performance led to an 87-72 loss.

Despite 15 points from Antonio Biglow and 13 from Paul Egwuonwu, the Cats shot a dismal 5-for-23 from outside the arc. In addition to poor shooting, MSU also had a problem giving away the ball at inopportune times. Once the buzzer sounded, the Cats had turned the ball over a total of 28 times, 9 more than their opponent.

The Cats will head back home next week for their regular season home opener when they host Portland on Sunday, November 18th
