WARM SPRINGS - A Montana State Hospital employee is expected to return to work soon after suffering a broken nose.

According to the state health department, at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, a patient and staff member assault occurred at the hospital in Warm Springs.

A female part time nurse was attempting to work with an agitated patient when she was hit in the nose by the patient. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and has been relieved from work because of the injury but should return soon.

Another employee suffered minor injuries and returned to work earlier this week.
