Montana State and Montana suffer upsets

It was a tough day for football fans under the Big Sky, as victory slipped away from both the Bobcats and the Griz.

Montana State, the number two FCS team in the country, gave up a blocked punt for a touchdown and an interception for a touchdown, losing to sixth-ranked Eastern Washington 27-24.

Montana, fell to Southern Utah 30-20 for their fourth loss and third conference loss of the season, effectively eliminating the Grizzlies from the post season tournament.
