Montana Highway Patrol waiting on car parts report from fatal pedestrian/car crash

Montana Highway Patrol is hoping someone will come forward with information regarding the death of a Butte woman who was killed while walking on Interstate 15 last month.
Peggy Joyce Witt,61,was struck and killed by a vehicle in the northbound lane of I-15 on November 13th.
The driver of that vehicle continued driving.
Montana Highway Patrol is hoping that person will contact them about that night or anyone that may have seen Witt on the interstate that night.
Vehicle parts from underneath the fender were recovered from the site where Witt was killed.
Those are still at the Montana State Crime lab for analysis.
Anyone with information is asked to call local authorities or the Montana Highway Patrol at 406-494-3233.
