KALISPELL - The Braulicks picked up 3-year-old Lucy on Sunday, a day they thought wouldn't come.

Lucy has been missing since October where she jumped out of her family's car.

While her human family has missed Lucy, there's another member of the Braulick family who's been missing Lucy terribly.

"The first week or two he was - it was scary. I mean he was completely depressed," Amy explained of their other dog, Charlie, who hadn't been the same since Lucy went missing.

"He didn't want to get up and do anything. He just wanted to lay on his pillow and mope," Amy added.

Lucy jumped out the window of the Braulick's car in October while they were heading from Great Falls to Kalispell to pick up their daughter on the way to Helena.
But thanks to a newspaper article last week, Lucy was finally found at the Flathead County Animal Shelter.

"She identified us right away and jumped up and started giving us kisses, her tail was wagging. Our daughter was there, and she recognized her right off-the-bat," Amy told us.

The Braulicks know Charlie will bounce right back to his usual self as soon as they get Lucy home.

"Yeah it will be a happy reunion with them. It will be," Tim said.

He added Lucy is a little bit skinny after being on her own for three months, but that she's still healthy and obviously now very happy.

The Braulicks also expressed how thankful they are to the community who helped them find Lucy.
