The weather models are trending cooler over the next handful of days with snow coming back into the forecast for the first half of the week. Light snow is expected to start west of the divide this afternoon but will likely hold off until the evening and overnight east of the divide. Daytime temperatures will generally stay in the upper-twenties to low thirties for most of the region today. Expect between 1-3 inches of snowfall by Tuesday afternoon with locally higher amounts possible by Wednesday. The snow chances will begin to fall off late on Wednesday with sunshine and warmer temperatures in the forecast for the weekend.
