The wind and cool rain will be an area of concern as we go through the day today. Scattered rain showers will move through the area through the day as our daytime high only tops out into the middle 50s. A high wind warning is in effect for the area through 6 PM this evening. Winds are expected to be out of the southwest between 15-35 mph with gust near 50 this afternoon. The sky will begin to clear this evening as our low temperatures fall to near freezing with a wind still gusting between 25-35 mph tonight. Another cold front is slated to move into the region Wednesday night and Thursday leaving daytime highs in the low 40s.
