MISSOULA - A 28 year old Missoula woman arrested Friday night for drunken driving with her two children in the car appeared in Missoula Justice Court Monday.

Melanie Ray Ingraham was arrested, after police say she hit another car with her vehicle on the corner of Briggs and Gharrett streets and then fled the scene.

When police pulled the car over, they found two children, one 2 years old, the other 4, both unrestrained in car seats.

Police say the two children were not properly dressed for the cold weather, with one of the children's diapers completely full.

Ingraham was charged with felony child endangerment, misdemeanor driving while under the influence, failure to stop, failure to carry proof of liability insurance and driving with expired driver's license.

Judge John Odlin ordered Ingraham to have no unsupervised contact with her children, she can not consume alcohol or drive.
