Missoula pedestrian struck and killed on Reserve Street

MISSOULA - A 26-year-old Missoula man is dead after he was hit by a truck while crossing Reserve Street on Saturday night.

Sergeant Jake Rosling with the Missoula Police Department says around 9:15 p.m., the man was running westbound across Reserve Street, near River Road, when he was struck by a truck that was traveling southbound.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses about the accident, and are looking into whether the rain and glare on the roads may have factored into the fatal incident.
