MISSOULA - Remember that Pearl Jam Concert from last October? If you do then you might have downloaded the bootleg of the show available on the band's website.
The proceeds from that fundraiser went to the Poverello Center on Tuesday, in the form of a check for $12,500 from Pearl Jam's fan club.
According to a post on the center's Facebook page, that money equals about 12,000 meals or 1,300 nights of shelter. Around 2,500 fans purchased the $5 bootleg.
Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament has Montana roots and still resides in Missoula for part of the year.
