BOZEMAN - Authorities are looking for a low-risk sex offender who reportedly broke off his GPS monitor after being released from jail.
Bojan Troftgruben, 22, is being sought by the Montana Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office in Bozeman. He is described as being 6' 2", 140 pounds with brown hair and large piercings in his ears.
Troftgruben was released from jail on March 20 and placed on a GPS monitor, but broke the monitor off his leg that same night and has not checked in with his probation officer since then, according to police.
Troftgruben reportedly likes to hang out in Livingston and Bozeman.
He has been assessed as a low-risk sex offender by the courts.
Anyone with any information about Troftgruben's whereabouts is asked to call the Bozeman Police Department at 582-2000.
