Man killed in explosive incident outside of Laurel

BILLINGS- One man is dead following an incident involving explosives outside of Laurel.

According to Sergeant David Muhlbeier of the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office confirmed that deputies responded to private land off of Seitz Ronan Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Saturday.

A man, yet to be identified, was transported by Help Flight to St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings where he was pronounced dead.

No one else is believed to have been injured in the incident.


Muhlbeier tells Q2 that the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will be investigating the incident.
