HELENA - A Helena man is detained in the Madera County jail in California for an out-of-state warrant for his recent connection to the disappearance of Angelica Melody Gray, the 22-year-old mother of two who was reported missing on Dec. 11.
The Helena Police Department issued the arrest warrant for James Alexander Lee last week in order to question him regarding Gray's disappearance.
On Dec.17, authorities received information that Lee was traveling with Gray in California but when he was stopped, she wasn't with him.
Lee told authorities at the time that he had dropped her off just outside of the town of Madera.
Lee has previous charges of intimidation and unlawful restraint in Lewis & Clark County.
