The man accused of trying to rob an Anaconda bank entered a plea of no contest.
64 year old James Ramsay appeared in Anaconda-Deer Lodge County District Court this morning.
Ramsay is charged with attempt to commit felony theft.
On September 21st he reportedly entered the Wells Fargo Bank in Anaconda and passed a note to a teller demanding 10 thousand dollars.
Law enforcement arrested Ramsay while he was still standing at the teller booth.
He told investigators he had come to the area from Midland, Texas and had run out of money.
The Judge changed Ramsay's bond amount from 50 thousand, to 250-thousand dollars for fear Ramsay may run if released.
A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and a sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.
Ramsay could face up to 10 years in prison.
