Law enforcement gets man running from warrants in Manhattan

A man
tried to make a run for it in Manhattan today on a couple of warrants for traffic charges.
Police Chief Dennis Hengel tells us his agency cooperated with Gallatin County Sheriff's Department to apprehend Kurtis Algard on two warrants.
The foot chase lasted about five to ten minutes, two blocks from the high school on the north side of town.
No one was hurt.
Gallatin County Undersheriff Dan Springer says Algard's traffic charges come from Montana Highway Patrol and Bozeman Police.
