ROCKER - Law enforcement officials in Anaconda have finished up another day of searching the Rocker landfill for any sign of Tammy Salle.

Police have been scooping out and raking through garbage dumped in the landfill that came from Anaconda. As of today, they have searched a total of about 400 tons of waste but have found no positive evidence that Salle's remains are there.

Lab testing of a gold colored shower curtain covered in blood found in the landfill earlier this week revealed that it was not human blood.

Police started searching the landfill because of a tip from a sanitation worker regarding an usually heavy trash receptacle that had been picked up in the vicinity and time frame of Salle's disappearance.

"Most tips don't come out how you think they will. But it's like we told the family and everyone else, we'll follow up on all tips," Anaconda Police Chief Tim Barkell said.

Barkell says they plan to continue the search for Salle outside the landfill but have no new specific tips or leads to work from as of yet. He also said state investigators will search in the landfill next week for a few more days.
