BELGRADE - Belgrade's Bryce Weatherston is the two-time state champion and is undefeated so far this season.
"I just go into every match knowing I'm not going to lose. You know I go out to win. I try my hardest because when I did lose in the past was because I stopped at the very end, so I push through the whole match," Weatherston said.
He's been pushing all this season. He had two wins in the tri dual meet this past week against Sentinel and Bozeman, a talent that exacts perfection and has earned confidence from his head coach.
"I just knew going in last year that he had a state title in him, and all he had to do was go get it. So when it happens, it's always a sweet moment," head coach Randy Schram said.
There might be some more sweet moments down the road. Bryce hopes to wrestle collegiately next year for the University of Wyoming. Once he graduates college, Weatherston wants to get in to physical therapy.
