The Montana Western men, with an impressive 9 and 4 record to start the season, still have one thing they need to improve on as conference play heats up: rebounding. The Bulldogs rank last in the Frontier Conference in defensive rebounds, and they're getting a nice holiday gift to help that out
Manhattan High School alumnus Tanner Hupka who left the Tiger program as the school's all-time leading rebounder and also the single season scoring record holder, confirmed to MTN Sports this weekend that he will in fact throw on the red and black next semester for Montana Western. Hupka, a 6 foot 5 post man, had been enrolled at MSU Northern this fall but has decided it's a better fit for him down in Dillon under head coach Steve Keller.
