BOZEMAN - They asked and you responded. Hundreds of local residents answered the call regarding what to do with the Story Mill property.
According to project manager for the Trust for Public Land, Maddy Pope, more than 650 people responded to the survey. The survey gave the public a chance to weigh in on some of the options for the Story Mill property.
Back in December, the Trust for Public Land announced, along with American Trust Bank, an agreement that could transform the 61-acre property into a new city park. While the trust for public land hasn't had a chance to analyze the surveys, Pope did say they received a great response from a wide variety of residents.
The results from the survey will be released during a community workshop at the Emerson Cultural Center Feb. 7.
