One of the biggest things that comes along with the New Year, is New Years' resolutions. But the challenge is maintaining them.
Consistently atop most of the resolution lists, losing weight, or staying fit. While local gyms see a significant increase in memberships at the beginning of the year, within a few months, that number begins to decline. But there are a few things you can do to make sure that doesn't happen to you in 2013.
"The best thing you could possibly do is everything in moderation. And that includes exercise too. You can't just start off and go crazy and think that that's going to be, your're going to be able to maintain that. And just grab a friend to go to the gym. Have someone to hold you accountable, because that's really the way to make it last," says Ridge Employee Krista Kottraba.
It's also recommended that you learn about your gym, including what classes might be offered that can help keep you in shape.
