Northwestern Energy reports wind driven power outages across Southwest Montana.

In Bozeman, between 5 and 6 power poles have snapped in the Sourdough area and between 400 and 500 customers are without power.

Crews are currently working to restore power. As of 4:30 p.m. Goldenstien lane was closed while crews worked on the poles.

A spokesman for Northwestern Energy says the goal is to have power restored between 7:00 and 8:00 tonight.

There are additional reports of smaller outages in the Hyalite area and on a separate circuit in the Sourdough area.

Winds have also caused outages in areas of Livingston, Pony, Ennis and Dillon.
