A high wind warning has been issued for Madison and Gallatin counties until midnight tonight.
SW winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are likely especially through Ennis, Norris Hill and Three Forks.
Strong winds will continue through this evening from Norris Hill northward through Three Forks and travel will be difficult for high profile vehicles.
Three Forks, at 8:55 a.m. this morning, reported a wind gust up to 59 mph.
Strong cross winds are also reported in the Livingston area and traffic is detoured through Livingston this morning.
Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard will have updates on the current weather pattern tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on KBZK and KXLF.
