If you'd like to see a new park in your neighborhood, now is your chance.
Voters approved a $15 million trails and parks bond back in November of 2012. Now the city is accepting applications for the money. Commissioners have established a committee made of members of the community to look over the application and then make recommendations to the city on which projects they believe are worth pursuing.
"These are large projects and these properties will make an impact on the community for generations to come so we don't want to just do $15 million worth of projects," said Mitch Overton, Bozeman Parks & Recreation director. "We'd like to get $30 million out of the $15 million."
