Gymnastics season underway in Bozeman

It may be a sports season you are unfamiliar with but it is certainly a fun one to watch. The Bozeman Blizzard, an annual event hosted by Lone Mountain Gymnastics, kicks off the gymnastics season in Montana tonight.

"We have 100 boys this evening. They're from gyms all around the state and we have one out of state gym here as well," says Lone Mountain organizer Jeff Turczyn.

The three day event is being held over at Shroyer gym on the campus of Montana State University. With only 100 boys competing Friday night, it's the girls show for the rest of the weekend. Over 300 girls will show off their skills in front of judges in the events you see in the Olympics.

Competition picks back up tomorrow morning at 8 am.
