The Montana Whitewater Rafting and ZipLine Company threw the switch on its new solar electrical system Tuesday afternoon.
A USDA Rural Development Energy Assistance grant helped pay for the panels. The business says the $6,000 panels will help save on power bills during the summer season. It's a good fit, say the owners, because the business is not even open during the winter months when the panels would be less efficient.
