Representatives with the Montana Folk Festival expect thousands of people to travel to Butte this weekend.
If the expected numbers of people arrive, people will need to camp, said George Everett, lead organizer for the Montana Folk Festival.
Free camping is available at Butte's Municipal parks, Copper Mountain, the Mountain Con Mine, and McGruff Park. Free RV Parking is available on the south side of the Butte Civic Center.
Butte Central Catholic High School is offering their courtyard to travelers. The area can accommodate about 12 tents. The school is charging $25 a night. The facilities indoors will be made available for guests.
You can contact the school at 782-6761. School officials recommend calling between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
