Former Butte Justice of the peace makes a plea in district court Wednesday for charges of doctor shopping for prescription drugs.

Bob Lee, 67, of Butte pleaded guilty to 2 felony counts of fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs.

Lee pled not guilty in February but entered the change of plea in Anaconda District Court before Judge Ray Dayton Wednesday.

A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered and until that is complete; Lee has been released on his own recognizance with special conditions.

Lee was charged earlier this year with doctor shopping in Anaconda, Whitehall and Butte for the prescription drug methadone.

He was initially charged with 12 counts in Anaconda-Deer Lodge County and another 22 in Jefferson County.
