Flood Warning issued for Gallatin River

The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD WARNING for the Gallatin River as an ice jam has been reported near Logan and the river is rising up to flood stage.

At 7pm Sunday evening the river was up to 8.8' with a flood stage of 9'.

There will likely be some minor flooding along the river as the weather will remain very cold for several more days.

Meteorologist Adam Bell will report on this situation at 10pm tonight and Meteorologist Matt Elwell will update situation again on Montana This Morning starting at 5:30am Monday.
