MISSOULA - Three men from the Flathead have been sentenced in Missoula Federal Court for breaking into two pawn shops in May and June of 2012 in the Flathead Valley.
Joseph Allen Lesmeister Junior, 23, Virgil Duane Matt, 21, and Larry Charles McCormick, 21, pleaded guilty to possessing stolen firearms.
Police say the young men stole 16 firearms and firearm accessories from a Kalispell pawn shop, along with firearms from another pawn shop in the Flathead Valley.
A federal judge sentenced the men to five years probation with six months home arrest, and ordered them to pay over $7,000 in restitution. The trio also must complete 400 hours of community service.
