The Fourth of July is quickly approaching and If you plan to set off fireworks- there are a few rules and restrictions.
Fish Wildlife and Parks officials say fireworks are off limits on FWP lands--which include fishing access sites and wildlife management areas.

Using fireworks on FWP lands can result in a misdemeanor--with a fine of up to $500.
Gallatin County officials say fireworks can be set off in the city but only at the following times:
On July 3 and 5 you can light them off from noon until midnight and on the Fourth from noon until 1 am.
