The Ennis school board plans to move forward with using funds more accurately.
The Montana Attorney General was asked to give his opinion on the school board's use of funds. As a result, an audit was requested in relation to the use of certain funds.
The report found that revenue and expenses were coded and accounted for to build the new school, but that some transactions needed additional information.
The report also showed no new information in relation to use of the flex, transportation and adult education funds.
The auditor recommends that a refined procedure for keeping receipts and documenting use should be implemented in the future.
County Commissioners say the school board will implement a procedure to follow for future use of funds by the end of this week.
