BUTTE-Almost 23,000 pounds of recyclables will never see the Butte Silver Bow Landfill.
On February 9th the United Way of Butte and Anaconda hosted another successful Dumpster Day event.
Three sites were set up around Butte for people to drop off anything from plastic to aluminum cans.
27 volunteers collected over 200 pounds more than the Dumpster Day event in November.
Anaconda High School students and Jobs for America's Graduates students were also participating.
The next Dumpster Day will be the day before Earth Day, which is Saturday, April 20th.
