MISSOULA - Two people escaped serious injury after a collision near Florence that left one vehicle in flames.
It happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday on Eastside Highway and El Capitan Loop.
A Chrysler Sebring and an SUV collided on the highway, sending the SUV off the road into a gully, where it burst in flames.
The female driver was able to get out on her own with minor injuries.
The man driving the Chrysler was shaken up, but is expected to be ok.
Both drivers were taken to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula; no one else was in the vehicles.
The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating.
