STILLWATER COUNTY - Emergency crews are on the scene of a single-vehicle, fatal rollover on Interstate 90 between Park City and Laurel.
An SUV was reportedly traveling westbound on I-90, drove into the median, over-corrected back onto the highway, veered towards the shoulder, then over-corrected back into the median where it rolled multiple times, according to witnesses. It came to rest in the middle of the eastbound lanes at mile marker 426.
The eastbound lanes are closed, but traffic is allowed to pass on the shoulder.
The victim was an 85-year-old man from Wyoming. He was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Chan Barry told MTN News that although the investigation isn't complete, speed and alcohol are not suspected to be factors.
