DEER LODGE - A candlelight vigil will be held tonight in Deer Lodge for two community members who died tragically over the weekend.

The vigil begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Pen Convention Center on Main Street and will honor junior high school guidance counselor Rosie Hertel who died of a heart aneurysm Friday and homicide victim Tina Schowengerdt who died Saturday.

Dennis Schowengerdt, 65, Tina's husband, remains in jail without bond in connection with his wife's death. He turned himself in for her murder Sunday morning. He will likely enter a plea on December 18 in district court.
