The case for an Alder man accused of threatening three teens with a gun has been moved to district court.

Ryan Maddison, 36, was scheduled to appear in justice court, but upon review of his case, the Madison County Attorney voted to move the hearing to district court. Maddison faces several charges, including two felonies for criminal endangerment and assault with a weapon.

On Thursday, Jan. 31, Maddison allegedly fired a gun at a car while driving on Highway 287 south of Sheridan.

The occupants of the car, three teenagers, reportedly tried to escape, but according to court documents, Maddison followed them and pointed a gun at the 18-year-old driver.

Maddison will make his appearance in district court Monday.
