Several people have spotted funnel clouds in Meagher County, but these are "cold-air funnels" and not likely to produce tornadoes that touch down.
Officials with the Disaster & Emergency Services office in Meagher County shared these photos with us.
STORMTracker meteorologist Mike Rawlins says that cold-air funnels develop within shallow cold air masses and can look dangerous at times, but they are very weak and rarely touch down.
The funnels are full of water droplets; the windy and cooler air at the surface on Friday is different than the conditions aloft, causing the rotation.
