City of Roundup under a boil order for drinking water

BILLINGS- The city of Roundup has issued a boil order for all drinking water.

Glenn Russell, a water operator for the City of Roundup, says that contaminants may be present in the Roundup water supply due to pump problems.

Russell said those problems caused dirt to enter the water supply which may be carrying contaminants which are not healthy to drink.

Russell said the water is safe to drink once boiled, and the order will be in effect until further notice.
