Cats playoff opener set for 5pm on ESPN3

BOZEMAN - Montana State's playoff contest against the winner of the Villanova-Stony Brook first round matchup will kick off at 5 pm. on Saturday, December 1, MSU Director of Athletics Peter Fields announced.

The NCAA and ESPN also indicated that first and second round games, including MSU's 2012 playoff opener, air exclusively on ESPN3.

Due to the late football start, MSU has changed the tipoff time for its December 1 men's basketball against San Jose State to accommodate the home playoff game. Montana State's contest against San Jose State now will begin at 12 noon.
