BILLINGS- According to The Casper Tribune, the Casper Police Department has released the names of the victims and suspect in the double-murder and suicide which shocked the Wyoming city on Friday.
Police say 25-year-old Chris Krumm of Connecticut killed his father, 56-year-old Jim Krumm, and his girlfriend, 42-year-old Heidi Arnold.
Both victims taught at Casper College in Wyoming.
The two victims lived in a home together, outside of which police say Chris killed Arnold.
Police say Krumm stabbed Arnold multiple times and had also sustained defensive wounds.
Chris Krumm then made his way to campus where he found his father in a classroom.
Krumm, a computer science instructor, was preparing to hold class at the time.
Chris then shot his father in the head with a bow and arrow.
Police say Jim Krumm made an effort to fight his son-which police say allowed students in the room to escape.
At some point, Chris stabbed himself numerous times before stabbing his father in the chest.
When police arrived on scene, Jim had died and it was determined nothing could be done to save Chris.
Police say Krumm acted alone and did not have a significant criminal history.
He was currently living in Connecticut, and police say he may have left some form of communication explaining his actions.
Police say they have found no indication that Chris threatened either of the victims before, or that they even knew he had traveled to Casper.
