HELENA - An evacuation at the Capitol was triggered after reports surfaced of a suspicious package sent to the Governor's office.
Helena police and firefighters responded quickly and ordered all state workers in the building to leave and stay home for the rest of the day.
Fire officials say the person who handles the governor's mail opened a package that was sent by an anonymous person that contained what appeared to be a piece of cloth wrapped in tape.
That person has been placed in quarantine while authorities test the package for any toxic substances.
Officials say the package did not contain any explosives.
