Butte women dressed in pin-up clothing with classic cars are raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butte.
The 2013 Best Rides in Town calendar is on sale for $20 to fund professional services for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The money will pay for criminal background checks of volunteers, screenings and education.
It costs about $1,000 to fund a volunteer through the program each year.
The calendar is in memory of Butte man Bill LaVelle Jr., and includes women and cars from Butte.
LaVelle was a long time supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butte.
"One of the main things I wanted to do was showcase Butte's beauty in donating to a local cause because Butte is beautiful. The people here are awesome and I don't think people really understand how really, truly beautiful Butte is," says calendar organizer and model Teal LaVelle.
Ironically the license plate number on the cover of the calendar is the same date as LaVelle's last ride.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Program Director Phyllis Costello says, "Even though we had a visual idea of what it was going to be, we just knew what Bill was into because he loved cars, and he loved beautiful women so it was perfect tribute to him actually."
The goal is to sell 4,500 calendars.
That would raise $95,000 for the Butte Big Brothers Big Sisters.
"I mean that's awesome and to be part of that, you can say hey I bought a calendar and they raised $95,000," adds LaVelle.
Butte Big Brothers Big Sisters has been operating since 1967.
