Butte Wins State AA Championship

In what has to be one of the most exciting games in Montana History, Butte High School hit a 45 yard field goal as time ran out to beat Bozeman 38-36 and win the Class "AA" State football championship. Bozeman had come from two touchdowns behind in the last two minutes and scored on a two point conversion to take a 36-35 lead with 21 seconds left. But Butte got a long kickoff return, two passes from Dallas Cook, and then the miracle field goal by Jake Dennehy to pull out the victory.
